CorelXara was my first Xara product. Before that I was a CorelDRAW user. But after seeing a demo of Xara I was hooked.

I still have this program installed - it came free with my original wacom graphire - and quite apart from being useful for some legacy workflows it will TWAIN scan; whereas my much more recent PS will not, LOL

my first xara was XARA X ['the original X'] released about the same time 2002/3 - it will install at least up to win 8.1, but I don't have it to hand at present...
Didn't realise at the time that I could install to two PC's ... Still don't know if that applied then. I was so impressed, that I bought one for my office computer too.
