Text in Boxes coming up as image?!!!!

Help - i just started working on this:

(i'm building it here before moving it to my already active site)....

All the text i am placing into text boxes is coming up as some kind of image (i cannot select text on my published page).

On another page, i can select text that i placed inside a 'man made' text box. Should I have created another text box within the text box (as shown on the left side of the page)...

I hope this makes sense. The text on the site is extremely important to me for seo purposes.

Just an add-on.... I'm not seeing the text come up when I do a view source for the page either...

Either you've grouped the text with other objects or the text areas are not 'on-top' (to the front) :-)

Oh, geez - I'll take a look at that then. ......before I do the other 1400 pages.......:)
