I made a custom 404 error page, but have some problems with it. If the requested page is at the root level it works OK: http://www.michiganimaging.com/pleaser.htm. But if the missing page request was in a folder a different result happens: http://www.michiganimaging.com/catering/pleaser.htm due to the page looking within the named folder (in this example catering) for the files. Any idea how I can make this page work correctly all the time?

I found a workaround. I used Frontpage to modify the html. I replaced all the references to "index" which is the beginning of all the file links, with the entire URL of the domain with the word "index" attached to it like this: index_htm_files/1551.png to this http://www.michiganimaging.com/index/. Then I uploaded just the modified file and deleted the original from the Xara file so it doesn't get re-made with any site changes I might make. I did keep an original copy.
