I had a quick go Rik, but it's all a bit Greek to me - maybe I should sharpen them scissors....
There is nothing wrong or illegible about putting a curl on the "O" the only character that doesn't have this special effect. It would make the alphabet thematically more consistent
Your interpretation of Mario Hugo's original idea—and extension of it— is magnification, and thanks Rik, for naming the colours.
