This is what I found out so far.
" single stroke fonts, such as the ones you'd want if you wanted to write very fine lettering on a surface in vector mode. The only way I know of to do this is by using AutoCAD and its built-in lettering. There's actually no way to describe a true single-stroke vector font in PostScript or TrueType, so no normal program can do it"
One site I looked at liked cargo crate which is more or less a stencil font.

"Cargo Crate. It's a little but tall and skinny so I usually end up stretching it, but I like the look and it's free."
