PNG image, wish to change color
I have a PNG image that is a logo. The image is basically a hand drawn line image, and I wish to change the lines to something more colourful. Upon selection the entire background including the image becomes a solid color rectangle.
I cannot ungroup parts of this image adding to the challenge. I could use the trace function, but I fear the image would react as closed. My only option would be to redraw the entire image. Any ideas TG’s? Image is attached.
My Thanks
Bill

Re: PNG image, wish to change color
bwood I don't know anything about the prog you are using but in XDP change the dark contone to the color you want. because the text is black changing the light contone to black will produce a black image.

Re: PNG image, wish to change color
You can also use Color Burn transparency mode to add color to the black from a color or colors above the image. In this example the rainbow fill as seen solid on the left.

Thanks W, and @gwpriester. Solved this one. I copied to XGD and pasted. I was able to change the color. Couldn’t in XWD for some reason. But it’s all done now!
