Hi,
I've been relying on the Xara web plug-in on a web site I administer for some time now, to allow the download of a detailed physical map in a small file size.
Recently I seem to have been having problems - the web page itself hasn't changed, but on some machines it will display OK and on others you just get a blank page and no errors.
Anyone have any experience with the web plug-in?

did you config the mime type on the server? In most cases this will cause the problem.
In addition the plug-in doesn't work with files generated by XARA X - we had the same problem. X *.web file will either crash the browser or not display anything at all.

The Xara plug-in is a Netscape plug-in and doesn't work with IE 6, which doesn't support them. I doubt Xara Ltd are going to do anything about this in the near future so you may have to offer a Flash alternative on your site.
