"Xara Xtreme Pro 4.0 has stopped working"

Hi everyone, i have a problem, every time i open Xara Xtreme Pro 4.0 it just crashes, cant do anything at all, i have Vista Home edition, this never happens on XP, please, if anyone knows the problem or a solution, i will appreciate your help a LOT, thank you.

Give this a try:


From Vista's Start Button/ Right click 'Computer'/ select 'properties'.

Control Panel / System Window appears. Under 'Tasks' select "System Protection".

Sytem Properies window opens...select 'Advanced'/ Performance Settings / DEP [data execution...]/

Check "Turn on DEP for all....."

Hit the "Add" button and locate Xara Xtreme Pro 4.0 exe file.

..........and hopefully....you will be back in business!

Could you please let us know exactly which version (including the build number) of Xtreme Pro you have installed?
