Placeholder doc in background
Attachment 132397
When adding a document to a placeholder, I inadvertently placed it on my workspace, behind the web page. I've read all the documentation but can't see how to get rid of this error. I can see it in code but can't edit. Thoughts?
Spelling error has been corrected. :)
Re: Placeholder doc in background
Windjamer, let's assume you intended to add it to a box as a Placeholder.
And you missed.
You have not said that it appears on every page so it will not be in the Website code area.
It therefore can only be lurking in the Page HTML Code Body or Head.

Thanks, Acorn. It appears only on that page's background. I believe I did not have the placeholder selected when I added the code.
How do I edit the HTML to remove it? I can see the errant line in Page Source.

Wj, to remove it, you have to find in in the design.
I suspect you need to open Web Properties > Page > HTML code insertion > HTML code (body) or HTML code (head).
Easier to do than to explain.
If desperate, PM me your design file.

Re: Placeholder doc in background
First place I looked, Acorn, but those fields are blank. They seem to only apply to code bits you want to add.
I can rebuild the page but I'd prefer to know how to solve this mystery.
Where's your PM info and do you want the .web file to review?
Thanks for taking the time!
Re: Placeholder doc in background
As you said: "In the MouseOff layer, just under the yellow Placeholder in the Page & Layer gallery, you have an invisible Box with the same Placeholder code in its Head."
I knew you would solve it! Many thanks, Goerge.
