Inkscape (v1.2.2 Mac version) keyboard shortcut xml preference
I occasionally have a dabble with Inkscape mainly to see how things are progressing and spotted this reference to 'Xara' in keyboard shortcuts preferences. I've not actually looked into what it means, but thought someone here might find it useful to know (Acorn?) :D

yes, if you use inkscape as well, a lot, then it might be useful to have [some of] the keystrokes the same as they are in xara :)

Jono. the xara.xml file states:
Quote:
This is the alternative Inkscape keymap designed to match as close as possible the shortcuts of Xara X/Xara Xtreme/Xara LX. See inkscape.xml for a description of the format.
Obviously, this is quite old and might no longer match to the new Xara shortcut keys now used as default. @handrawn is old school so his keys might be all right.
The detail on how to amend the file is in the file so if anyone wants to whittle for a few hours, I am sure some TGers would appreciate the effort.
