Just playing in P7 and came up with this.

I cloned the picture with pencil sketch, then added surface texture, image luminance. Finally applied image warp, sphere and lighting, splashy color. Neato!!!!

Looks great really pulls your eyes into the subject. I too love the colors. Also wonder how it will print?

Not positive but I think some of those greens may be out of gamut for printing.

Thanks for your comments. I just tried printing it out and it turned out pretty good. All the colors were printed as shown. Not bad..:)

maybe look close at the print to see how the resolution is.
here are some attachments showing some of my results. these are jpegs of scans of prints from my inkjet.
these are details from an 8.5x11 720dpi print on gloss paper from an epson stylu s 1200. the image file is a .rif document, 28MB, 300dpi.
the first image is printed from Painter 6.
the second image is printed from Painter 7. notice anything.
i'll be sending an e-mail of this to corel.

Oh my, that's horrid!!!! I didn't print out from P7 but my PhotoImpact6. I'll go try it in P7 now....
