The background makes the stereogram
This is one of my more popular images on our Facebook page. I found the pattern on Shutterstock where I have an account. It was created by a Ukrainian artist who has created hundreds of really cool images. Some of her seamless tile images are the perfect blend of random and busy and work really well for a stereogram.
I originally hid the word PARTY but then I thought that might strike a nerve for people who are sheltering in place and may never go to a party again. So I chose COLOR.
Re: The background makes the stereogram
You've misspelt colour again Gary ;)
Interestingly misspelt is also dubious.
Re: The background makes the stereogram
On this side of the pond, we note a word has been misspelled. Think of it as a regional dialect. :)

Quote:
The past tense of misspell is misspelled in American English. However, in other varieties of English, misspelt is also acceptable.
Ain't English fun
Re: The background makes the stereogram
The stereogram OTOH has gotten 245 likes which I think may be our all time best. Not as much enthusiasm here however.
Re: The background makes the stereogram
I'd love to enthuse, unfortunately...
Eyes: Hey brain, look at this.
Brain: Squiggles. Nothing to see here. move on.
Eyes: But, but...
Brain: I said MOVE ON!

Re: The background makes the stereogram
that one is very nice - I like the way the colour is balanced against the 'monochromatic-style' background - will have to go back and look at the colour wheel ones again, I don't like to be beat...
egg: that would be mis-spelt when I were at school - misspelt sounds rather like a yoiung lady from a cartoon, just needs a van....
