Why not open source it now?
I am anxiously awaiting an edition of XaraLX that is useable. But why don't the developers make it open source now? They can still work on it through CVS, and people would be more aware of the status of XaraLX. I personally would like to see it Open Sourced, because then I can see how well I could add SSWF support, for animated Flash files (and soon ActionScript).
SSWF.
Hence the sig.
Re: Why not open source it now?
I would guess limited resources. All programmers working on tweaking windoze xtreme. Nobody available to port it to linux. Which version of xtreme do you want ported? one of the broken beta versions or a working one? Wait till xtreme is out on CD then start asking... :)

Eh? I'm just talking about making the current source of Xara LX, the Linux one, available via CVS.
