When I import a colored image and want to change the color of a region using mask or region painter, everything works just fine in the photo enhance tools.
But when I import a black and white image and want to color a region on it, everything in the photo enhance tools works fine too ... except the photo hue tool (with the slider), nothing happens.
How do I change the color of an area on a black and white photo?

afaik hue does not work with black and white - black and white are not hues
it does not help that xara does not have a greyscale colour space you can work in
having worked out the RGB values of the hues I would do it in a raster app
that said someone else may know better
You can edit a black and white photo as a contone (2-color image). And you can create a duo-tone effect by altering the light and dark colors. It is not ideal but it works.
