Stunning. Can you post a few detail images. I wish TG supported larger sized images. You have captured the dull black so well and subtly.
Sure Gary, here's a couple of closeups and the wire frame.
Heh heh. The detail is simply amazing.
Amazing.
Incredible.
That's an amazing amount of work.
I was going to post something. I don't think I'll bother now.
Amazing. They always are.
It's a tragedy that you don't work with someone and publish your illustrations in a book.
Paul
I agree with Paul above. You have a superb collection of artistic work, all done in your inimitable style.
This train is interesting on so many levels. There is something about old trains that still commands our attention.

= Good job Gray
Igor
Thanks all for your very kind comments. I had more patience when I did these.
One word Gray, stunning.
Stygg
Man, that's super cool! Can't imagine what kind of 'zone' you had to be in for all of that detail!
I love it Graham, the finest rendering of I have see. I love the layout with the line drawing and the colored one. This is something I have been thinking about for a painting, which I think I personally am better at than computer art.
Thanks stygg, hseiken, Larry.
Larry there are some awesome train paintings around. They are just such a large imposing machine, and the noise they make. I hope you do start a painting.
Spectacular! I have started lots of "projects" but always quit in the early stages. Haven't got the patience (or the skill for that matter) to keep it going. no matter what I do they never look like the vision in my head.
I agree Grahm, I wasn't thinking of doing a train painting but the layout style with a line drawing as part of the painting not unlike what you have done, anyway this is something I have been thinking about for a long time. Glad to see you are doing that kind of layout.
Thanks, Keith.
Larry, I hope you get that project done.
Thanks Graham, me too.
