Cloning color in Painter 11

I'd heard it's possible to clone color in Painter from an outside source -- say, cloning from a book or a photograph (not scanned, but an actual book or photo) and importing it into the color palette and art file. Does anyone know if this is possible?

you are going to have to digitize it to get onto the computer - you can capture from video/digital camera into painter if I remember right, if you don't want to scan
