symbol option missing xara designer15

hi, anyone know how to fix this - please see image

you can try going to the xara menu windows / control bars, opening the button palette and checking if the star quickshape is on the flyout there.. if it is you can alt drag the flyout off the toolbar, then alt drag the one one the button palette onto the toolbar to replace

if it isn't you can try the reset button, but that will reset everything

thanks handrawn, that fixed the problem. as you can see i now have two star quickshapes on the flyout; i might have a coding problem somewhere... but let's not go there yet :-)

Sounds more to me like a glitch. Always close the program and reboot then reopen and see if the problem goes away. Or see if the problem exists in a new drawing. Files sometimes get corrupted and do weird stuff like that.

You can always try and pull one of them off the same way you added it.

tx keith and gary, the re-opening bit did the trick, i tried the removing maneuver but as it was still open in 'glitch' mode it had no effect.
