Magix Updates for Xara Pro

I reached out to Magix and asked if they plan on doing any updates on Xara Pro and what is the value of the update service. I received the following response:

There has been an update in February and with the valid update service there is access to the online catalogue. However the the updates available on the subscription version on xara.com are unfortunately not available on the MAGIX version.

So it looks as if Magix and Xara are going to be going their separate ways. And this February update did nothing for the program so no update for the past year.
