I hate when that happens.
Did you look at your backups? File > Open Recent > Backups...
You might need to go back one or two but you should not have lost everything.
No luck there had to start all over :(
Well, I am sure this is no consolation but I have found on the rare times when this happens, I am always able to improve the last design and fix a few things that were bugging me but I was too preoccupied to change. :)
