Printing descrepency
When I print a photo from Xara in black and white/ draft quality, the picture comes out nicely centered on my 8.5 inch by 11 inch paper. Without making any adjustments except to print on HP photo paper, Color, Best quality.... it cuts off the lower third of the picture and prints it on a second page.
Why????

Re: Printing descrepency
Not sure why but I can confirm I have had this problem with our HP OfficeJet. Try a different paper setting in Printer Properties and see if that makes a difference.

Re: Printing descrepency
check what your printer settings are for each print option - they may not be all the same in terms of paper size printable area etc - you may be able to do this via the 'printer' button in the xara print dialog box, but you may have to check your printer's own management software....

Re: Printing descrepency
Ok,
My printer is an HP OfficeJet 4650.
To print an 8.5" x 11.0" picture on HP photo paper make sure the Xara printer Options Output Tab has Fill Quality set to "High", Layout Tab has Top/Bottom at 0" each and Width 8.5" Length 11.0".
For the HP Printer Settings choose "Letter" NOT "A4". In the Printer Shortcut Tab set Paper Type at "HP Photo papers", Print Quality "Best"
That's what I discovered after wasting 8 sheets of paper.
Now it all prints on one page.
