v16.1 - Wheelie control of Line Width
Dear Xara...
I have been using the Ctrl+Shift+Wheelie action on line width, even on individual Table cell edges to good effect.
What I do not like are the values I get when I scroll up/down. It seems a scaling of 1.2 is applied for each step.
For a start line width of 36 pt, I get:
20.83 |
1.200192 |
25 |
1.2 |
30 |
1.2 |
36 |
1.2 |
43.2 |
1.2 |
51.84 |
1.200039 |
62.21 |
|
It would make more sense if the larger value were rounded to the nearest integer and the smaller ones to the nearest 0.25pt.
I currently do this manually, negating the entire worth of the control.

Dear Xara...
I thought this was a really simple ask and one at least worthy of an acknowledgement.
Time to fit in in for v16.3?

Re: v16.1 - Wheelie control of Line Width
We wouldn't be able to do any changes for V16.3 unfortunately, it's way too soon to release but I can certainly ask the developer to take a look at this and maybe add something for V17. I don't know the formula it uses for increasing the line width but maybe we could add a registry entry to override it.
