Well, here it is for all the sceptics, the file. See what can be accomplished with half a brain under the waining effects of estrogen.
I have drawn lots of technical stuff in the past, usually prefer for my own leisure do what recreates the inner me the better. The other woman has often not been that at all but, a car.
Should have made it bright pink and made myself up as Penelope Pitstop. Well October is just around the corner, I may do so for Halloween challenges, if anything like the fun we had last year.
Had a look at my vacation photos, and I'll be walking until I reach Africa, losing the spare tire is quite an insight, a double entendre, possibly.
The next drawing will likely be an elephant.

LOL! Hardly!
It does?
'Tis just that wheel was really bugging me.
Re: Mustang Sally got a different Car
Sally,
Your tire widths seem to vary quite a bit, but the tire behind the car was, to me, quite obviously a spare tire mounted on the side of the car. Wasn't puzzling to me at all. Great drawing!

One out of two ain't bad, although I don't know if it is 'bright', or if it is everyone else's definition of pink. But if not, they can change it, as I've modified it to use named colors. (Naming colors for the front end assy is someone else's challenge.)
Thanks for the challenge, helping me learn some things, and giving me an hour break from writing. Time for bed, and then more writing!
David
ps - I did not have the live effect you used, and don't know if this file kept that effect reference.

Sally rocks!
Great illustration. It must have taken a colossal amount of time and effort. Well done.

Re: Mustang Sally got a different Car
Intbel had a fabulous challenge on spokes. I had many years of drawing just technical stuff, it was a paid job, I have avoided it out of spite. He made it seem fun again. I think the only filter I used was in drawing the hair, that you have to have the upgraded version of EyeCandy available through Xara. I had stole my face from a previous drawing I did. The hardest part was getting the chrome right. I didn't do the colors as named colors so redoing them would be time consuming.
So this is the rest of the car from the spoke challenge of Raymond.
As far as time, I figure about 6 hours. The front wheel ate up one third. Once doing those spoke, duplicated the front wheel and changed it just enough to be the back wheel. The front assy took about 2 hours, the other stuff about 2 as well. The research though, took long, I had to search high and low for a car with good spokes to draw. If you include that, I suppose I spent the better part of the day.
Thanks, Gary.
Mostly thank you, Raymond, your thread was a great one. Still is.
