I created a Tools Layer. I wanted the items on it to be available in design but never printed. If I tick "Layer properties > Background Layer then nothing of any other part of the design is showing in Preview. I have even moved the Tools layer beneath MouseOff, with the same failure.
Can you explain the purpose/function of the checkbox as your documentation does not seem to cover it?
