Hi All ...
My circumstances have changed and I haven't been able to spend much time on TalkGraphics. (obviously!) So. I'm wondering if anyone would like to take over?
Duties are fairly straight forward. Participate in the discussions, help others feel welcome and keep everyone civil - although that has been a pleasurably non-existant part during my reign. Occasionally one needs to delete double posts or reformat text but really, participation is key!
If there's more than one that wishes to step to the fore, you can be co-moderators.
Let can let me know here or by email then I'll let Thomas know of the impending changes.
ciao for now ... Jen

Thanks to Simon and Gidget, your new co-moderators of this Forum and Site Feedback, for volunteering their services.
I'd like to take a moment and thank Thomas (Sorrill) and before him, Chris Dickman, for allowing me the opportunity to participate in these forums.
Also, thanks to each and everyone of you, who have asked questions or posted your thoughts and comments - an outlet such as this is nothing without participation!

Hopefully gidgit and I can provide as good a service as Jen.
Just a quick intro from me. I am a struggling dot com person with a heavy IT background - analysis methods and tools, overlaid with a lot of data modelling, tools evaluation, and then a layer of web design and development, graphics etc. I use Microsoft Access with VBA to manage local data, Dreamweaver, XaraX and Paintshop. A jack of all trades and, hopefully, a master of some of them.
My specialisms of relevance to this forum are html, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL, but all of the self-taught, copy-code-and-rework variety.
I live and work in South London with two boys (5 and 2) and a wife. And if anyone can pay me for some work, I'd love to hear about it.
