Support Ticket Complications for Update Failure
Dear Xara...
I have raised a support ticket with your support partners, Magix on the joy that my second activation will not update to v15.1.
The path to finding the right web page is interminable and I knew what I was looking for.
More importantly, there is no Product option whatsoever for Xara Designer Pro X.
Please pretend you are a loyal Xara customer and try to navigate to the support forms...

Hi Acorn,
What do you mean for "Product option?" Do you mean the products in your account so that you can see the activation code, expiry date, download them? If so, then on the Magix.com page, click on the My Account button at the top right, log in, click on My Products.

Thank you John. Special circumstances, due to Xara, will only download a version that is older than the one I have installed already. Once downloaded, it fails to work as there is a later version in place. So Catch-22. The latest v15.1 is not available so I have to go cap in hand to Magix. I specifically do not want to lose current configuration nor be forced to re-download the entire Online Content Catalogue (again). I have had 2 successful auto-loads in my many years of being hopeful. This is important as my subscription runs out in four days.

Re: Support Ticket Complications for Update Failure
Hi Acorn,
I kept the V15 download, including Pan Studio and Content. I think that everything after that is a patch for which we weren't able to keep the install file, at least I couldn't. When you click on the download for 365 (DPX), which installer do you get? I get 15.
Re: Support Ticket Complications for Update Failure
We have complained to Magix their support pages are inadequate and somewhat not user friendly to navigate through, and apparently they are working to improve it.
I unfortunately can't help with serial number related issues but tech support you can message me.
Thanks
Rob

Thank you very much for this Rob.
Magix have supplied the following XDPX Installer links:
32bit: http://support-dl.xara.com/v15/v15.1..._1_0_53605.exe
64bit: http://support-dl.xara.com/v15/v15.1..._1_0_53605.exe
After from a throttled-back download of 20 minutes, it installed!
