The March Xara Xone

My long-suffering wife keeps encouraging me to do a simple tutorial, like how to create the logo for my alma mater, Art Center College of Design (in 1965 and for many years to follow). And I suppose if I could break it down into 24-40 steps, like most of my tutorials, it could be interesting. But do I listen? ;))

This month's tutorial is one of the more step intensive tutorials I have done and I have to admit that it would try my patience if I should try to complete it. But I have to admit, I am learning a lot about the 3D Extrude Tool. If you have the fortitude to attempt this month's tutorial, I guaranty you will learn a thing or two yourself.

Your comments, questions, kvetchings, are always welcome. Mostly. Sometimes. Well...

Had a good look at it I think t=it will be worth doing this tutorial. One small point Gary with the new layout of the Xone I can't see the ability to download the Zipped Tutorial which is no great loss really with broadband which is always on. Is this done deliberately or is it just a small forgetfulness on your part?

(z) It is the button with the Z. Subtle I know, but very corporate ;)

Joel Schilling caught two mistakes. The large circle on the first page is 200 not 250 pixels. And the angles for the two motor shapes on page 6 should be the same. Both corrections have been made.

Does anybody wonder how Gary comes up with this stuff? Bravo to his vivid imagination...
