Good Morning All, I've been asked to create similar illustrated designs to the Saltrock one below. But not sure where to start as I'm no illustrator, or know if it's possible Xara Designer Pro? I've had a look around but none of the web based platforms give the desired effect. Many Thanks, Br. Yonten

well yes it is possible in xara, but its a lot of work even for someone who is an illustrator... there would be a steep learning curve no matter which program you used
Kind of like asking you to perform open heart surgery. :O
Of course you cannot create an illustration like that unless you are a really first rate illustrator. Xara is a set of tools that in the right hands can create almost anything.
But there are sources of stock illustration where you might find a similar image. Try Shutterstock.com and be as precise as possible in describing your search subject.
