what's the font

please can you help me with the font.

All I can tell from this is it is a very small font. :)

My guess is some form of Bodoni. My sample is Bodoni MT (Monotype) Standard Bold

Actually from the very small sample provided I think the decender on the y is not as deep and might curve slightly.
