Photo does not mould perspective properly with Mould tool

Hello, I see that Xara Pro Designer has a mould tool that allows us to mold vectors and text to edit the perspective.
I'm attempting perspectives, not 3d.

But I have tried to use it on photos as I tend to need this function often. It will not work properly.
Photoshop has this function but I don't want to keep moving on to Photoshop to perform a task.

Is there a specific thing I'm missing or is there a hidden tool I don't know about that will allow me to
change the perspective on a photo? Or is it just not possible to do it in Xara?

The perspective envelope works best if you are mapping an image to an existing perspective. Or map a photo to the side of something that is already in perspective.

it's a basic tool in xara and it does not work as well on photos as on vectors
