Simon,
I like it. Kind of mesmerizing. Kind of like laying on the grass, looking at the clouds in the sky. You start daydreaming, imagining...
Very good.

Thanks for all your kind comments. You've given me the confidence to post more of my drawings (I'd previously thought they were too simple).

This is a sight I saw one winter in about 1982 - those of you who know London will recognise the NatWest Tower, formerly London's tallest building. It was a foggy afternoon, the sky was grey and the NatWest Tower was silhouetted against a huge orange sun. If I had taken a photo I swear it would have looked exactly like my drawing, but it was such a striking composition that I knew that one day I would have to capture it anyway.

Hi Simon,
On the moonlit sea... I would ad just a hint of blue to the water, and make the sky slightly darker. The water and the sky should almost be the same color at the horizon, the reflection shold deliniate the too...
my 2 cents worth.
I like your london Fog... Cool... Simple yet poignent..

Thanks for that. It's a much better picture now and it makes your mind work just a little bit harder!

One of my earliest memories of living in America (I moved from Switzerland with my parents when I was 5) was a hot summer day in suburban Illinois - maybe in a supermarket car park? - and seeing a brand-new red Ford Mustang gleaming in the brilliant sunshine. About 10 years later (in England) I tried to recapture the experience with a silk-screen print, but it never looked quite right So I found a photo of one and here's the result. It doesn't look like anyone else's classic car drawings, does it?

Hi Simon,
I suggested a little color difference. This is more what I had in mind...

Your images are very graphic and elegant. Sometimes simple is best. And having the talent to know when enough is enough is one most of us do not possess.

There you go. Ladies and Gentlemen, take your pick! I have to admit I like both versions equally, and for different reasons.
