Re: Where to download?
Psp 9 or 8 even work on vista and win 7 What they don't do is use the fancy windows graphics. When you open a program that does not support vista or win 7 graphics display the display reverts to the classic display Like Win 98 and changes back when you close the program. Now you will not be able to get older applications from Coral only the current one.

Re: Where to download?
I use version 6 of PSP on Windows 7 Pro 64bit without any problems at all.
No theme switching.

Under Vista you can disable visual themes in the compatibility settings of the properties sheet for the program shortcut.
This wasn't necessary under Windows 7.
I don't have version 8 or 9 to test however. Which version of PSP switched to their own dark UI?

Re: Where to download?
Yes, but I was considering if the introduction of the dark UI is the issue.
As I say - PSP 6 is fine, it even uses W7 default 'Aero' fine.

I do have X2, but haven't used it (or even installed it) since switching to Windows 7.
I tend to use Xara for 99% of my graphics needs now.
