MD to HTML.xwr
Dear Xara...
I wanted to develop a Xara Widget to allow the addition of simple HTML code, input as Markdown, to be automatically added to a Placeholder.
I am sure my code for this is accurate but it fails simply because you still rely on Internet Explorer for the rendering of these Widgets.
Eventuality, all Xara Widgets (.XWR) will fail as other web services will ignore or block IE, as has happened in this case.
When are you going to rework this moribund interface?

<XaraWidget>
<WidgetName>MarkDown to HTML Convertor</WidgetName>
<CreateURL>https://gchq.github.io/CyberChef/#re...;auto%20detect')
</CreateURL>
<BrowserWidth>800</BrowserWidth>
<BrowserHeight>960</BrowserHeight>
<WidgetHelp>
- Type in your MarkDown
- Highlight and Copy to clipboard.
- Click on the Insert button to create the Widget code.
</WidgetHelp>
</XaraWidget>

Re: MD to HTML.xwr
So I tried another on-line facility with:
<XaraWidget>
<WidgetName>Markdown to HTML Convertor</WidgetName>
<CreateURL>https://codepen.io/marcobiedermann/pen/LLGwLb
</CreateURL>
<BrowserWidth>1536</BrowserWidth>
<BrowserHeight>1024</BrowserHeight>
<WidgetHelp>
- Type in your Markdown in the bottom left area
- Highlight and Copy the bottom middle area to clipboard.
- Click on the Insert button to create the Widget code.
</WidgetHelp>
</XaraWidget>
and get:
⚠ Unsupported Browser ⚠
CodePen probably won't work great in Internet Explorer 11. We generally only support the recent versions of major browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Are you trying to test a Pen or Project in a legacy browser?
You can! PRO members can use Debug View without logging in. You can also Export your Pen or Project to test a local copy on legacy browsers.
If you think you're seeing this message in error, email us at support@codepen.io and let us know your browser and version.

Dear Xara...
Will you be replacing the IE dependencies within the Xara Desktop application build any time soon?
