I wonder if that figure actually works out? (distance from earth to sun 149.6 billion m / length of king size cigarette 84mm) :eek:
bear with me I only have a small slide-rule....
A lot of effort to get a light! Using the Sun gives out 3.828 x 10^26 Watts. A match is around one Watt. To think that at 92.955 million miles (149.6 million kilometres) away, I could use a magnifying glass and focus the sunlight to light a ciggie!
"six trillion cigarettes" is about 800 for each living person annually or three-a-day. Glad I don't smoke.
Who's got my cigarettes though?
