Very nice. Its funny that my older son can see it but my younger son still hasn't been able to yet...and he is the artist.
Compared to some of your recent stereograms, this one looks like it should have been an easy one for you. Unfortunately, the easy looking ones usually wind up taking longer than anyone ever thinks. I hope that wasn't the case this time. Very clear when viewed and the interlocking ring overlay is a nice added touch.
What's the story on the repeating background image? It's not one I would immediately think of to go along with the interlocking rings/marriage theme? Just a bit of curiosity on my part.
Two thumbs up on another great write-up on you and your wonderful stereograms.
I always enjoy a good stereogram,
Harry
The background image was originally pine branches. The person who commissioned the image saw it in the Signpost, our local paper, and wanted a print. I modified the green background and converted the panel into a Mosaic pattern using the Live Effect Tool.
The interlocking rings on top were created as a blend with the rings skewed to achieve the in and out 3D effect.
Very nice effect!
Great stereogram Gary. This is the most complete interlinking ring stereograms I have seen. Many people leave a gap in the back most ring.
I see you have grown some facial hair since the last photo I've seen.:)
Nice article on you and the stereograms.
It's my new look for 2010. :)
Damn ... I still can't see the intended effect ... (maybe if I stare for another 45 minutes).
Those rings really pop, Gary. I enjoyed reading the writeup on you. Well done.
That's great stereogram - I like the interlocking effect. And a very interesting interview - thanks for the link,
Penny
