HI,
I have been asked to remove text from an image but the owner does not have the original layered image but only the jpg. I wondered whether it is possible to remove the text from the image, or any recommendations on what to do?Attachment 89886

Though you might do better with this one ► http://goo.gl/wFtpq
TinEye is your friend ;)
That looks great. How did you do it if you don't mind me asking?
I searched his stock of images to see if there was an original, or a layered image but without success.
I had thought of just overlaying the text with a white text box and adding any new text if it was required. But this looks great.
Like I said, "TinEye is your friend" ;)

Why oh why have I not heard of TinEye before today!
That site is an instant bookmark.
TinEye is a great plug-in.
In this case, the image that government site uses is used here:

The original ShutterStock image, the one TinEye found and is linked to above, is something that government site shouldn't have available to be found.
Take care, Mike
Never heard of TinEye but impressed. Google has a similar feature on it's image search engine. Follow this google search link.
