Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. Right now I'm working on something I thought would take a couple of hours and it's been TWO DAYS so far - and it's such a simple thing.

I've really enjoyed "Tool Time" with Xara Xtreme. I'm surprised at the number of people that have responded to this topic.
I guess I'll have to make a contribution myself.
I'm surprised no one thought of one of the basics.
Wider is better.
Excellent drawings, chuckpa.
I just finished one of my own. It's a VERY OLD HOME-MADE conductivity tester. Parts are broken. But here it is:
A new battery Bob with a long shelf life.
Like the knives Chuckpa very sharp looking.
You guys are on a roll!

Very nice work! Makes me wish I had enough time to draw.
Here's a Lizard Watering System. I call it a Xidget because it's made in Xara.
Thought all you tool makers would like to remake and plate this cartoon item in chrome or perhaps a nice machine blueing. Anyways here's the Xar file, just for fun and to show that I have a peculiar mind.
:D
This is a "tool" that was also my dad's. He was a captain in the US Military Intelligence in the Korean War and I believe this tool was used to measure distances on maps. There are other numbers on the other side and another needle - different dimensions. You simply slide the bottom wheel across something and it measures for you.
Anyone know what this is called?
