The option to fit text inside that you call On Top only produces a Text Line.
For this to deliver what adding text did prior to Text Inside, the text object needs to be a Text Column.
You have provided the option that make the design have to fight the application.
At least now, if I click with a shape area that is not already selected, I can add my text line, column or area.
For that, I am grateful.
