Not painting with clone

I have painter x and have used it before with no probs. Now it is not letting me paint from my clone. I have the original and clone mounted, and then choose my brush and click the clone tool so it samples the color form the clone, and it is painting with the painters default. Any ideas? :confused:

If you have opened both images you will need to check that the clone source is set correctly - under the file menu - clone source you should see your images listed and pattern. select the correct image and all should be well.
