Variant will not display content

I am using Web Designer Premium 16.

I have created web site at http://www.glenelgyachtclub.com.au.... displays fine at 960 pixels which is what it was designed for.

I then created a variant at 480 pixels wide using the normal process.

Problem. The variant shows no content at all except for the pasteboard background.

I have checked all the shared items etc and removed them.... then added images to the variant.

I have also added text to the mouse off layer, but still, nothing displays.

I have even tried removing the mouse over layer....nothing

Created new layer, added content, still wont display

Any suggestions please?

I have been using this product for 5 years and never encountered this issue previously.

See if there is something on the pasteboard that is not part of the page. I have found this can cause weird things to happen.

You've been using Xara for 5 years and your site looks and works perfectly so I don't want to sound glib.

Have you simply tried deleting the mobile variant and then recreating it?
Delete the variant, save your work and restart Xara with Admin privileges?

Often the simple answers are overlooked and that's all I've got to offer :)

I'm with Gary here. You have a pasteboard background image sized 1920 x 1020 px. Try deleting this from the mobile variant & ensure your mouse-off content is within the page bounds.

And/or tailor your background image to the width of your page.

Hi, yes, I deleted the mobile variant several times and then recreated it.

Have tried Admin priveleges also.

Have also deleted the pasteboard image in the background etc.

The pasteboard image was the only thing showing
Deleted this many times...no difference
Checked layer positioning...no difference
Deleted pasteboard layer and then reinserted it...no difference
All content is well within the page boundaries

Yes, tried all of this earlier.
Interesting thing though...deleted image from pasteboard background, and it still shows in the variant when published.
I am beginning to think this is a software issue

Perhaps best to post your .web file here so we can take a closer look.

I remade the entire web site last night from scratch, but again, when I create a variant, no content shows.
