I snipped this off and brought it into the house, set it up against a black card, shot with a speed light off camera on a tripod. 2 white cards used to aid in the lighting. I put about 4 layers of tracing paper in front of the strobe to soften the light. I hope I'm not over using the photography site by the number of posts, I just enjoy photography and like to share. Hope you enjoy this minimal, moody shot.

This is so much in keeping with your Xara illustrations. You have such a natural feel for photography.
I have to tell you that when I was in advertising I worked with dozens of professional studio photographers who would have achieved a similar result by using thousands of dollars worth of equipment and lighting. And your image matches what these pros would have produced.
Yep, please just keep posting your shots. It can often be the high point of seeing beauty on the web each day I see your photos.
