Export filter to SVG

Hi,

I tried Xara (build 1785) and I love the UI (much better than Inkscape). However, I must have the possibility to export to SVG. I tried both the menu as well as the xarasvgfilter, but they produce files which contain only "tags" and no actual objects.

Short question, then:

• is there there an export to SVG possibility?
• if no, are there workarounds? (i.e. some formats that work both in xara and in Inkscape, which then can export proper svg)
• if no, is anyone working on that or has the Xara development completely ceased?

yes and no... yes, in that this has specifically been provided for,
but, as your original post states, the interface for that function
was never completed... so... no.

it is easy to convert a postscript file to SVG, however, and
XaraLX does export postscript... thats how Id been doing it
for more than a year.

Im so glad you were following your thread closely, because
after reading your question, I tried outputting to SVG in Scribus
(from a postscript file), and that as well is now supported in
the release mentioned in my own thread.
