Do you have or would you like to have one of these games consoles?

I would like to have all of them, buit I have none of them.

I didn't vote because I don't want a game console, but I play games on my PC all the time, so the no answer does not apply either.

Same as Grace, well... I'm not playing all the time, I have to work too (webdesign) but when I play I play adventure games on my pc.

This is a rather poor poll.

If you ask anyone if they'd like something, most people will say yes.
If you ask people what they already have, they can only give one choice when they may have more than one console.

So I've responded, but we have TWO of the consoles.

I'm not sure what the point of the poll actually is..

I don't but my son has a Wii and a PS2. personally I rarely play a game on my computer preferring to use Xara therefore I didn't vote.

No thanks. I do my gaming to the PC. No need for simplified games on consoles, especially the Wii (yuck!).

I think the wii is all about group interaction rather than the sole gamer. It has been very popular in the family and amongst my Sons student friends - they can compete against each other and everyone can watch and they get off their backsides to participate, so basic graphics yes, but for fun with your friends, and family and accessibility for younger players - fantastic.

[The wii is often transported amongst houses for fun at parties (where someone doesn't have one already) - that says a lot]

I have one - the Wii and my wife (age between 70 and 80) has Parkinson Disease and the Wii-Fit board and software to improve her mobility. She thinks that it is great - helping her!

I have a Wii but don't use it very often. It's fun if the kids are over and I may start using the Wii Fit again (cause I need it) but after using a console, I wouldn't put it down, it has it's place. Most things, including games, I do on the PC.

I have Xbox and PS3, so can't vote as I can't do multiple choice. :)

I love the Wii.... it keeps my kids off my computer.

And there is actually some good graphic games on it...
One of my favorites is Monster Hunter Tri which I play online with a buddy of mine.
I like some of the old Sega Megadrive classics on Wii Virtual Console too.
Dragonball Z BT3 is a fun game.... I'm an old Dragonball fan (tho I hated the drawn out combat on the TV series)

Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are fun.
My kids love Boom Blocks, they like "building" games a lot... they are avid Minecraft gamers on the laptop.

I would get Xbox or PS3, but I like my PC games for the high-graphics. Steam/Impulse are great esp during Holiday season when stuff goes on sale at 66% and 75% off (I never buy games released the same day... wait out the public opinion)

For the record we have a PS2 in the house but the boy has been banned from using it because he was becoming hyperactive, especially in the hours following a PS2 session. Ever since banning him (about 3 months now) he has calmed down remarkably and he no longer asks to have it reconnected. A good result all-round, I'd say :)

Okay, the poll ONLY allows one answer, and I have more just one. I picked my XBOX for the poll, but lately I've been giving my PLAYSTATION some well needed love and attention. I love to play video games, so if anyone would like to play some time, just hit me up with a friend request on either console.

Not because I like a mobile phone with an inbuild console,
but I love a console with an inbuild phone. ;)

I voted Wii because is the one we had for the longest time but we now also have Xbox... Wii to play family games and Xbox for my son to Kill aliens in Halo...

Someone said it! I don't have any of those game consoles. Maybe an "other" box to type in the game console you do have. Like me, I own a DS Lite. Although I'm usually on the computer (about 16hr/day) and play my DS to fall asleep most nights. I also have an Android Tablet I can play games on. (Don't get fooled by the cheaper Overseas models, you can't download Apps from Google because they need a mobile phone number) .

It's an interesting concept "overseas models" - when just about all such manufacturing takes place in the far east!

i would really love to have an xbox. maybe for christmas. until then i will keep playing grepolis and kapi hospital...

Got all three but the xbox and the wii are sat gathering dust, the ps3 sits in the living room and is used for games, the net and for watching bluray disks, the only time recently the xbox was used was with the whole playstation network going down episode.

I'm bought a ps3 for console games but haven't play ofen since I think MMO games(like WoW) is more interesting

I have the PS4 and the psVita had a PS3 but gave to my son as his died! But the game selection for pS4 is the craps! right now. Bought the ps4 for its 4K capabilites but no movies yet in 4K LOL

I play role playing games, which though can, usually does not involve electronics of any kind. Its more like a board game, miniatures game and story telling game done live among a group of people. So I can honestly say, that I don't have any console games and never have. I have rarely played some PC games, usually only for a couple weeks before I "conquer" it, and never touch it again. I don't feel its the doom of civilization, but I will say games like World of Warcraft has taken away the audience that use to play RPG games like Dungeons & Dragons. There use to be 10 million+ players of tabletop RPGs, now that is probably closer to 1 million or less, today. The maps that I create and post in my Fantasy Maps created in Xara Xtreme thread in the Xara Graphics Chat forum are used in the type of games I play.

Related to this, its kind of cool, that this month's (May 2014) Outsider has a shout out to that Fantasy Map thread of mine. Also I will be adding some of my Xara created map content in the Xara.com gallery!
