John you have not entered anything for the server to authenticate you by?
You need to put your login and password in the options.
It works fine when all information is correct and present.
(PS: options.ini is not a text file you can edit in notepad, it's a binary type)

HOORAY!! :D Yep, that worked ... just don't think of passwords and things with Thunderbird cos it handles them for me you see :)
At least this thread will be instructive in that way for others hopefully :p
Yeah, get that, but the revised files - options and address - are being saved on my desktop, not into the folder with the program. But I suspect that might have something to do with my having two desktops [using Manage Desk] and the path I used to save the SendPix folder. I'll investigate that.
I set up Thunderbird! Believe it or not :p :D That ought to be a recomendation ... If I can do it there's no excuse ;) :D
Until I didn't make installer you can do following:
1) Delete ALL sendpix.exe, options.ini and address.ini files
2) Unpack "SendPix" folder in c:\Program Files\
3) Run program from c:\Program Files\SendPix\ folder
all settings should appears in c:\Program Files\SendPix\
Did as you said, but ini files still saved to desktop. Not just being an awkward cuss you know, just reporting :o
PS covered password because of casual moochers ... can't be too careful :)
