If I use an obscure font and export my animation, will someone view it on the web properly if they dont have that font installed?
Thanks... I checked help but it only talks about embedding in pdf...

Tallis,
Not unless you convert the text to shapes prior to export. Flash has the option to embed a font and it works well. A lot of straight forward fonts embed with an overhead of around 16Kb. Of course, converting fonts to shapes in XXP works differently as each 's' is seen as an individual shape not as an embeded 's'.

I thought we discussed this back in january.
Doesn't XXpro flash only use static fonts and automatic embed them?

Aridzone,
The senility is worsening! You're completely correct of course, the font is embedded because all text in XXP is static text.
Tallis,
The font is embedded in the swf file.
Badda bing.
Thank you.
