Changing Z-Index of individual elements without coding
Is it possible to change the z-index of page elements without coding?
I am trying to create a nav bar that is on the bottom of the page, when you scroll it stickies to the top, along with the links.
As you scroll further, different page elements overlap the background of the nav element, with the text staying on top.
I have tweaked the position settings to the very top, but same old same old
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ace, I cannot reproduce your difficulty.
Just to be clear, all objects are on MouseOff/MouseOver layer?
Did you select the NavBar and Bring to Front? In the Page & Layer gallery, the NavBar object is the top-most one.
If you select everything but the NavBar and put them to the back, this might help as the NavBar is a soft-group across two layers.
A demonstration design file should be uploaded here.

Access to trouble .xar file :
teamentertainer.com/NewEntertainer.xar
1. All objects are in mouseoff layer
2. Navbar is brought to front, all items besides navbar are sent to back
Thanks for any help provided!

Steven, untick the Stretch properties (Don't Stretch) of the NavBar
You can then place the objects so they roll up behind the NavBar.

What if I want the navbar to stretch and be responsive to the users interface (iphone, ipad, various pcs, etc)?

Xara doesn't do responsive site, it does Variants and each Variant would have a NavBar to suit.
If that is not suitable then you will have to use CSS to alter the z-index.

Cheers Acorn, unknowingly I'd downloaded it 5 times ;)
ace2go, here's the best I can do. Would be better with a plain dark background. You can't get a navbar to stretch.
