I didn't know that either, but then Of limited use unless you make websites... looks like a multiply transparency effect is added
I just followed the suggestion to double click on the line with my mouse and a node appeared and I was able to add additional nodes. I am thinking that the issue is with my graphics pen not the software. I don't have very steady hands so the stylus kind on wanders around. I will have to use the mouse whenever i need to create a linear gradient I will play around with my intuos pen and see if I can change the settings on my pad. Any suggestions in that regard? Thanks for all the help.
