Changing the rollover col for the flash player arrow?
Hi everyone
Was just wondering if it's possible to change the rollover colour of
the "play" arrow in an embedded flash file?
The colour scheme of the site I'm designing is different shades of green
and white but the rollover colour of the arrow for the embedded flash
video is coming up orange?
Ideally I'd like it to be the Dark Green colour of my theme
The page with the video on I'm reffering to can be found at the link below
http://www.skatingray.co.uk/gs2k10/videos_oasish.htm
The script contained within the "placeholder" is as follows
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/swflash.cab#version=9,0,28,0" width="100%" height="100%" id="standAlone" align="middle">
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
<param name="movie" value="index_htm_files/standAlone_omk.swf?url=Oasish.flv&sound=true&a mp;loop=true&tooltip=true&autoplay=false&a mp;swfborder=true" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" />
<param name="menu" value="false" />
<embed src="index_htm_files/standAlone_omk.swf?url=Oasish.flv&sound=true&a mp;loop=true&tooltip=true&autoplay=false&a mp;swfborder=true" quality="high" bgcolor="#e0f3e0" width="100%" height="100%" name="standAlone" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" />
</object>
Any help or advice would be most welcome.
Many thanks
Gary
Re: Changing the rollover col for the flash player arrow?
Welcome to the forums.
The controls are part of the bundled standAlone_omk.swf player and are not user editable.
You can use the free version of the JWPlayer as an optional player which does allow for some colour alertnatives.

Hi "Sledge"
I appreciate the reply
I'll have a look at the JW Player and have a "fiddle" with it.
Thanks for the "heads up"
