Hi,
I'm making a website in the latest version of Xara Pro and would like to export to HTML. However, all vector objects are rasterized and exported as individual PNGs - making the website pixelated and slow.
As far as I can tell this is the default behaviour - which is incredibly strange as Xara is a vector program and modern HTML is excellent at handling vectors (ie. via SVG or otherwise).
Am I missing something - or is there a way to force all objects to be kept as vectors?

vectors for a browser means SVG
these are still not fully supported in all browsers
it might be better to optimise your bitmaps
I am sure a webdesigner member will be able to be more specific
as a user I don't find much difference as long as the website is well designed [does make a difference is you want to download of course]
@ksta, have you perhaps Grouped items together as this will produce bitmaps over Font Glyphs and CSS.Quote:

Yes, SVG is what I meant by vectors in HTML. I'm interested to know what browsers you refer to - caniuse.com seems to only indicate IE as being problematic (at least to the latest release, 1.1), and as it is now deprecated software that surely shouldn't hold back Xara development?Quote:

as it says in your link, the support for SVG in browsers is still only basic - so it is limited with regard to what SVG's are capable of
SVG'a are very good for flat colour graphics; no good at all for photographic images of course...
KSTA perhaps you could attach an example xar/web file so we could suggest ways of improving the publish sites content?
