Navigation Bar
I have created a navigation bar with 7 buttons with drop down sub menus, in preview it shows the sub-menus with boxes and the selected font when uploaded the text is small the font has changed and no boxes.
Sometimes it works on first attempt then selected another button and the drop down menu has changed to a list and behind graphics on the page.
How do I get the words in drop down menus to be centered or have spaces in front?

Re: Navigation Bar
This sounds like the classic cache problem. Try ctrl+F5 to force a refresh of each page that displays incorrectly.
I've also had success with add the following to Utilities > Web Properties > Website > HTML Code (Head), but don't forget to remove it once you've finished fiddling as it tries to force the browser to refresh from the server at every page load.
<meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate" /><meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache" /><meta http-equiv="Expires" content="0" />

Re: Navigation Bar
Forget that code I posted above, it doesn't work.
Just started building a new site and I thought, 'I haven't used that code in ages, I'll do so tout suite.'...Failed on both mobile and desktop. I shall now spend the rest of the day muttering and moaning to myself.

Re: Navigation Bar
Thanks for the timely reminder of Ctl-F5. I was just about to post a query and you saved me a red face!
However, I may have typed too soon. I removed as best I know how the previous navigation bar and selected a new design. I filled out the details but now on preview and after upload I get a spurious rectangle with one of the previous menu items, just the one.
Could someone suggest what I'm doing wrong please?
Thanks.

Re: Navigation Bar
Flip - That usually sounds like a cache problem. Ctrl F5 does not always work. Can you post a link and we can verify if this is actually happening?

Re: Navigation Bar
Certainly. https://www.philiphowells.co.uk.
I just entered that in another computer and got the 'original' nav bar. Ctl-F5 and I got to where my preview showed ie three of four 'new' buttons and one large 'old' blue rectangular button covering all of one and part of the second 'new' buttons..
Thanks
Flip
FWIW the new blog button doesn't work correctly either.

This is what I see in Firefox

Re: Navigation Bar
So do I in Chrome. The blue rectangle is wrong and a relic from a long previous nav bar.

BTW I've solved the Blog problem - by dropping the s in https etc just http

Re: Navigation Bar
flip, go to the Page & Layer gallery and tick the All layers/objects visible icon on uncheck each layer separately.
The offending item will then appear.
