It's amazing what you can do to a crappy digital picture!

I did this for a dear friend and neighbor who passed away last month.

Here is mine.
I know I probably spelled it wrong but it's called the "Filagree Frame". What can I say if it's spelled right good, if not then 'artistic license'!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

called appropriately the "Filagree Brush".
IN order to create the fill for the frame. I took the brush and created a line. Then cloned the line 3 more times lineing them up so the filagree over lapped a bit. Then grouped and created a bitmap with alpha transparncey. Then created a square object, placed it over the newly created bitmap and sliced it out. Cloned that new square and then cloned those two and esentially created a tile with it. Nice to know that a tile can also have transparency. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
So then I simply created my shaped and filled them with a nice dark green and created an identical shape and filled that with the transparent bitmap fill and layed it over the shapes.
Neat, huh!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Here is the brush in case any one wants it.
Enjoy!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

If you want a seemless tile then you know what to do to create it. The seemless tile that I created is just too big (190 Kb's) and this thread is way to intensive as it is. So it's up to you to do the seemless tile part. The file is a .PNG with alpha transparency.
If you don't know how to create a seemless tile, it's fairly simple.
Clone the tile and flip it horizontally and then move it out using the arrow keys on the keyboard and then once it's lined up right next to the original tile then select both and clone them and then flip them vertically, line them up. Then select all of them and create a bitmap copy with true color + alpha and there you have it!!
Hope someone else can use it! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
